David Fox, M.D., serves as our resident director of psychiatric services and is Board Certified in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. He completed his internship in Pediatrics and Child Development at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and did his psychiatric residency and fellowship at the Massachusetts Mental Health Center. He was on the faculty of Harvard Medical School from 1973-1977, and since 1977 he has been on the Psychiatry faculty of the University of California at San Francisco.

 

Dr. Fox has much experience in the field of psychology including but not limited to serving as the Associate Chief of Psychiatry at Valley Medical Center, being the Medical Director of the Renaissance Adolescent Center for Clovis Community Hospital, and also directing the Child and Adolescent Services at Cedar Vista Hospital.  In addition to his position at Toribio Psychological services, Dr. Fox is also currently a consultant to the California State Diagnostic School for Neurologically Handicapped Children.
