Our purpose and mission at Toribio Psychological Services is to provide every single client, couple, and group with a professional, experienced, safe and compassionate place to heal and grow. We aim to provide quality, outpatient, mental health services for people of all ages with various presenting problems.

As an Associate, it is our mission to provide a nurturing environment where you are free to learn and explore your passion in mental health. You will work side by side our qualified, licensed staff whom you can freely consult when questions arise. You and your supervisor will work through common and more obscure issues patients may present. We work to cultivate a culture of respect, wellness, and learning at our practice. Our administrative support team is here to remove most of the busywork so that you can focus on therapy.

Responsibilities:

• Provide individual, family, and group therapy.

• Conduct intakes and develop treatment plans.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records.

• Collaborate with other professionals to coordinate care for clients.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health issues.

• Advocate for clients in the community.

• Provide support to clients in developing coping skills and strategies.

• And if you are just beginning to learn in one or all of these areas, we will happily teach you to be confident in approaching all of the above.
