Dr. Jorge A. Valadez earned his B.A. in Psychology and his master’s degree in Family Therapy
from the University of Guadalajara. He earned his doctoral degree in Psychology from Michoacan
University of Saint Nicholas of Hidalgo. He also earned a Degree of Specialist in Health
Promotion and Prevention of Addictive Behavior from National Autonomous University of
Mexico. Dr. Valadez has provided mental health services to children, adolescents, adults and
their families for over 20 years.

Dr. Valadez has worked in a variety of setting, including clinical, educational and community. He
has numerous scientific publications related to the prevention of addictions, as well as a weekly radio program that focuses on discussing various topics in Psychology. The program is broadcast in Spanish every Friday at 4pm. Tune in to 1680 am to ensure you don't miss the next segment. Dr. Valadez grew up in Mexico, is fluent in Spanish, and truly understands Mexican culture.

In his free time, Dr. Valadez enjoys spending time with his family, as well as playing tennis, watching movies, listening to music, and playing the guitar.
