Dr. Connaughton, Psy.D. earned her B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Child and Adolescent Studies from California State University, Fullerton. She earned her master’s degree and doctoral degree in clinical psychology from California School of Professional Psychology, Alliant International University, Los Angeles. Dr. Connaughton has provided mental health services to children, adolescents, and adults for over a decade. She specializes in the treatment of trauma and has served as a mental health provider in residential facilities, a school system, community mental health, in a psychiatric in-patient hospital, and addiction treatment programs
